Our company is the supplier of domestic pharmaceutical companies such as Gedeon Richter Ltd., EGIS Ltd., Sanofi-Aventis Ltd., TEVA Ltd. and numerous Hungarian companies including, MOL Ltd., public transportation companies, etc. , but there is also an export or toll-processing connection with foreign companies like ACROS Organics, CU Uetikon, Grünenthal , Janssen, KRKA, Linde, etc.
The company developed more than twenty patents over the past decades, and at the present is using eleven of them. The number of employees is 110 currently.
The turnover for 2005 exceeded 8 million EUR.
We have two plants in Budapest with the following features:
Production takes place in 2,000-4,000 litre, acid-proof, enamelled reactors and in acid-proof, steel equipment. These are equipped with carbon-steel, acid proof or enamelled coolers, depending on technology. The separation is mainly done by centrifuges. Drying takes place in disk-dryers, acid-proof vacuum dryers or Nauta dryer.
We are able to perform pressurised alkylation by using methyl or ethyl chloride in apparatus having special stirrer, rectification with 35 theoretical plates (mellacarbon).
At our central plant we use steam under 6-10 bar pressure from our own boiler-plant, thus a temperature of 160-170oC can be reached. Independent cooling systems operates in several places with the possibility of indirect, non-water cooling. We are also prepared to absorb acid-gases. We performe the following operations: sulphonation, sulphochlorination, acylation, alkylation (under pressure using methyl or ethyl chloride in apparatus having special stirrer), estherification, diazotation, halogenation and recently - thanks to a new equipment: two rectification columns with 35 theoretical plates (charge:mellacarbon) - we produce high quality acid chlorides.
Our plants are equipped with store-tanks (10-25-50 m3) and covered, partly heated warehouses. We are able to receive both road and railway tankers, as we have our own industrial railway line. Besides the tests made using our own GC, HPLC, IR spectrophotometer, polarimeter, above the classical analytical methods we also have the possibility of performing NMR, GC-MS measurements.
The ISO 9001 quality assurance system was introduced in 1994, which was audited and is half-yearly reviewed by SGS.
